Asynchronous Forge Update: Page Building Thrice As Fast

Read on to see how you can build sites faster than ever! ||
During the past months, we’ve been working on a massive update for Forge, and it is finally here! From today onwards, Forge 1.4.0 is available on the repository. And to put it simply, it’s a blazing fast update.
Read on to see how you can build sites faster than ever!
Non-disrupting page building
Forge is already a fast page builder. The fact that you can build things directly on your website means you get instant feedback– there is no more need to save and preview every small change.
However, Forge was being held back by some actions which disrupted your workflow. Things like adding or editing elements completely froze the interface, since the builder saves every single action you make.
Even if the pause was just for a brief second, it all adds up. And there is a lot more you could do in that time.
Asynchronous page building is here
In Forge 1.4.0, that changes completely. Instead of forcing you to stop at every little action, the page builder is now asynchronous. This means actions are done at the same time you work on something else. For example:
You can now add elements one after the other without pause
