Why any serious inbound marketer should be tracking duplicate content


If you’re at all focused on inbound marketing, SEO or driving traffic to your website, we both know what your most valuable asset is. Your content. Duh.
The entire point of bringing visitors to your website is to have them consume your content because it brings them value and addresses a pain point they have.
If that doesn’t happen, your visitors will just bounce off your website. That means they’ll never convert into email subscribers or new customers.
Without that, inbound marketers have no foundation from which to drive traffic.
Here at WP Buffs, we help people secure their WordPress websites. We can help them speed up their sites, too. But the fact is, you really have to secure your content too. Investing in protecting your biggest marketing asset is so important. If other people online are duplicating it and using it to draw visitors to their own website, you’re missing out on a big business opportunity.
But I was like you once. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal.
